Written live
Texts that only happen once.
In a Live Writing session we let the collective voice flow, passing the keyboard around to build one text together — a text that connects us and takes everyone somewhere none of us would have reached alone.

The cursor is the heartbeat.
The cursor is the heartbeat,
the voice in whispers,
the thought
getting ready
to summon the blood
and set it on its way
through veins and throats,
and from the mind
to coax out the mystery
and turn it into
sentence,
exclamation,
story.

Write, damn you,
write. Galería de Arte Mutuo · Barcelona, 2015
This was written live, as an opening, in a gallery in Barcelona in 2015. It arrived as an opening, the first thing that appeared on the wall that night, and became a manifesto later.
Ten years later the cursor became the symbol of the discipline. The image arrived before the meaning, which is roughly how everything here has worked.
